Here how you should run it.
Short range CL is more desirable in escort fleet since the CLT will attack first and kill the trash subs. Run 1 AACI DD in the 2nd slot since if you use FCF she will be the one that tow your boat home.
Theoretically if your CLT kill both the trash subs, it is an easy S rank since your carriers will have an easy target practice and your training boats wouldn't even get a chance to attack.

Get better level you noobs.
If your CLT cannot 1shot the scrub subs while having 2xred guns, you are doing something wrong.
If you want to further maximize your ASW killing potential, it is even better if you bring a short range CL so they attack after the CLT.
You can't even chalk this up to small sample size RNG. I did over 100+ runs and I always have one of akiduki/teruzuki doing AACI. The number of times I failed to S rank can be counted on a single hand.

They dont get hit and ASW calculation is based off equipment more than level. Bring 1 of Tereduki/Akiduki for extra AA protection.
