I do love that "tension" in your stories, though I think I've mentioned before that for whatever reason I just can't be satisfied unless I know for sure what's actually going on. A Gift for Him and Some Assembly Required (first story of yours I read I think, so many years ago) were always my favorite, because of how meticulously they described the suiting process.

I'm with you here; the idea of becoming a doll or object is really exciting to me (and probably fuels some of my more extreme fetishes). The difference is important, I think; there's the obvious aspect of losing much more agency, but there's something just inherently exciting to me about becoming nonhuman, with no one able to tell there's a real person inside.
