If you have limited free time you could mix-and-match available outfits/wigs/eyes to freshen them up. With a bit more time to spare try building props and accessories or other related DIY.
You can also go out with them for some more adventurous photo-shoots if the weather plays along.

I've gotten my best friend into the hobby a couple of months ago and we recently got into sending messages/pictures as though the dolls we're sending them, if that makes any sense.
We never much communicated via text/phone outside of calls and this started as a dumb joke on my part but it's gotten a bit out of hand. Can't leave my phone laying around at work/ family anymore out of fear someone catches a glimpse...

Not that anon but I can tell you that staining is VERY inconsistent and sometimes hard to predict. It depends heavily on what kind of material the clothes are made if, how and at what point the fibers were dyed, how tight they fit as well as the type of vinyl, temperature etc.
I've had a dark purple hoodie on my MDD almost since summer without any stains. I've put a darker suit on a Smart Doll for 20 minutes and I had to literally go into damage control mode the rest of the day to try and get the countless stains out, stained even through a white shirt underneath.
I would suggest a body suit to keep your mind at ease. It might be a 1-3k Yen investment but knowing your doll is safe is priceless.

I doubt I'll ever get fully over it, since it was a 60k yen (+ tax) doll I've been wanting for a year that I could've gotten for 27k. But I do admit that having the option to wait and rationalize a purchase to make sure you really want to pull that trigger is a welcome luxury.
I don't think you should regard Miku as a burden though. Worst case scenario you can always flip her for a profit. Even though I'm sure if you gave her a chance and released her from the Miku character cage by personalizing and playing around with her, you'd learn to like her a lot.
Wow, I didn't realize Warhammer got so expensive since I left the hobby almost a decade ago.

I'm currently working on equipping my girls for winter. I'll try to take photos which are neutral enough for me to not be afraid of posting.

Can't wait to see what you'll make! I think the Ribbon Girl set is amazing, possibly one of the best Miku sets, but that price is absolutely overblown and unreasonable, so you made the right choice. Unless you can snag it cheap at some point, it really isn't worth it.

What a cutie, I like that the hair-clips match the color of the dress pattern. btw I have that same Schleich bunny. I wasn't aware that people here still had those.
When the joints are prominent/bent. It's best to have socks that are either thigh high, or a bit further down the calf. When it ends right under the knee, it makes the joint appear more prominent.
But I probably shouldn't be giving advice, considering my severe lack of any socks (I keep telling myself I'll make them myself....
