I have zero interest in farming, but I could spend a whole day watching videos about pruning methods, manure types and how to tie a horse.

The reason I don't do it is because my time is limited and learning that stuff won't help with my current goals, not because it's boring. Anything can be interesting, as long as it's stimulating your brain.
