I simply don't have the bandwidth, even at ~55% compression which is the best I can do it's almost a GB of data, my connection is too spotty for that
Granted there are some duplicates here and there, but even so I think for sprite work you'd need most of that, even the _set folders that have elements like this one
As for naked sprites overall, you likely know that but a lot of characters just don't have them, even in their .psd files - if there were variants like that, they were separate layers
