You're pretty sure correctly.

Slimes are the top of the list, but I just find myself liking pleb-tier, low-power monsters that everyone else forgets about, whatever their flavour.

If I went to MGC I'd probably end up like one of those social workers that goes and tries to shine some light in even the deepest, darkest inner-city ghettos. Walking into the devil big pits, the slime pipes, the giant slug escargotieres, to try and convince them to take medicine if they're sick, or to go to the soup kitchens if they're hungry... to raise aspirations, and tell them that even if ten humanboys in a row run away from them screaming, they shouldn't get depressed or think that they're unloveable. They're all beautiful in their own way.
