Specifically to those of you who master the Japanese language to an intermediate or near native level; what's your study-methodology?
I keep getting hung up from time to time asking myself whether or not my methods are efficient enough, so naturally I would like the perspective of someone who's been more successful than me in learning the language.

At this point; pretty much the only thing I excel at is comprehension, but my speaking ability is not even on the level of a Japanese toddler since I have no one to practice it with. I can also barely read any kanji beyond JLPT N5 level.

Please, I would appreciate it immensely if you shared your secret.
I'm tired of stagnating...
