>Instead of going to chase after Ciel, Shiki stays and spends time with Noel in the infirmary, a bit frustrated with Ciel's recent aloofness (not too much though)

>At some point in all this, Noel tells Shiki that she's really here because she hasn't been feeling very good recently and that now they're sick buddies or something. Overwhelming amount of dramatic irony.
>She takes the opportunity to ask Shiki to help her hunt down some vampires together since she's not in top condition, joking that it will be like a date. Again, dramatic irony. If you've actually maxed your Noel relationship value up to this point, Shiki gets the choice to accept this. If you don't, you stay on Ciel route, if you do you enter Noel route (tm, sparkle sparkle)
>Once it starts getting dark out, they meet up and go to look for some vampires. Noel doesn't really get an opportunity to go full tortureschzio with Shiki around, but it's fairly uneventful otherwise, or at least as uneventful as vampire hunting can go.
>They both start getting headaches after dealing with a couple of undead and decide to go home early. Shiki actually makes curfew and stays home to sleep for once, tired.
>The following morning, Noel is actually at school, and Shiki convinces her to see Arach with him since they're sick buddies.
Just with that you'd have no immediate Arc-Ciel confrontation, Noel doesn't go out and murder 14 random dudes so Mario doesn't send her away to a monastery, which keeps her from going entirely off the deep end, and Noel getting checked out by someone instead of just going crazy with her own paranoia. I'm not smart enough to write anything after that but it's a start.
