I would think about waiting to start the company until you're seriously looking at selling something. Companies cost money, so you'll want to be generating revenue to avoid a bunch of fees and taxes.

Looking further into the site, the nd.gov links posted earlier should help with a lot of the business stuff, really go through them when you get the chance. Still searching for information about selling products out of state.

For the droid market:
1) You'll need to pay a one-time 25 fee to create an account there to sell stuff.
2) They take 30% of revenue form every sale.
3) You'll need a 'Payment Account' to sell stuff, which is through some 'Payment Processor' not explicitly defined in the agreement. I imagine it's something like Paypal, although I'm not actually familiar with Android's market so IDK.
4) Doesn't look like they care if you're a business or not (apparently 'company' is a specific legal word, so I'll stop using it). However, the government will if you're making money.

Apple App Store:
1) You'll need to register as an 'Apple Developer'

2) I imagine Apple has something similar to google's set up for their market, but I apparently can't navigate their site. So, no more info....

Either way, both seem geared to those selling products, so you might want to avoid them. Or not, up to you. I wish I could find more info on Apple's set-up, but it seems they want me to actually register before they give out the info. That or I'm terrible at looking for it.
