Here's the problem: Darling was supposed to be the 'test subject' that the world governments were using ( Predominantly Japan ) to see if humans and demi-humans could co-exist peacefully on the next level from being simple home stays. This of course gets complicated because Crab has this awful as fuck habit of making Darling have cold feet. So, rather than moving the story along, Crab focused on doing lewd shenanigans still while having background characters like TTF getting married and other throw away characters having sex with girls because he can't write himself out of a corner he put himself in.
