From what I've seen there's all kinds in this hobby- quiet people who just like the artistry that goes into crafting dolls, drama-mongers toiling in the salt mines, people with parasocial relationships to certain big-name hobbyists and/or danny choo, content creators of all stripes doing what they do... it's a mixed bag, but there are enough good people to balance out the bullshit, at least in this anon's opinion.

The topic of making a BJD discord has come up here from time to time, but they tend to attract drama, and others feel they detract from the board culture. I'm personally ambivalent, but I always enjoy hearing what other anons have to say.
