Just to clarify, it doesn't seem to be a literal World Tree but rather a tree big enough to be compared to one. To quote from it:

I wonder if these catalogs get compiled and published as "Hero Boy Encyclopedias" among monsters, though I guess they'd need fairly frequent updating as old heroes get married and new ones get blessed.

It must be tough for average monster girls who peruse these catalogs and grow up with a big crush on a certain hero only to find out he got caught by an echidna and is raising a family.
