Can you guys elaborate on the Miyama murder scene Shirou encounters on the 2nd day? So it's pretty much common knowledge that Lancer killed them as they're witnesses. However, the date doesn't make sense. What exactly are they supposed to witness? There's no battles that take place there. Out of 7 Servants, only Berserker, Lancer, Caster and Assassin were summoned at the moment (Archer too but Tohsaka didn't make any moves until the 2nd night). Between ufo UBW that shows a bit of Caster's backstory and HA, it's obvious that Bazett is still Lancer's Master during the raid on Galliasta's workshop (which is in Shinto). In HA she also said something about fighting Caster in Ryuudou (IIRC they also mentioned Assassin there but I'm not sure about that part). All of that happened way before "day 2". Since Caster and Assassin stay in the temple, that leaves only 2 possible fighters: Lancer and Berserker. Except it still doesn't make sense
1. Illya is more interested in Shirou than in eliminating everyone ASAP
2. She's more than capable of creating a bounded field around the "arena".
3. Kirei is aware of the Einzbern castle in the forest, he'd just send Lancer there.
4. Since the entire family except the kid was killed, it's more than likely "something" happened right outside their house, but the street doesn't look affected by a Servant battle. Especially considering that if Berserker was there, there'd be a lot more destruction in the area.
