I don't allow anyone to call me nigga, nigger, nanobyte---none of that. Call me by my name. I've never liked the use of that term by Black people. It sounds ignorant and makes absolutely no sense to me. It is not a term of affection.

It is a product of people not knowing who they are or way they came from.

It comes from having no idea of the viciousness and dehumanization perpetuated by this venomous, offal and offensive term. It was used to deem us ignorant, inferior and unworthy of equality.

Niggers were hung.

Niggers were raped.

Niggers didn't deserve to marry.

Niggers didn't deserve to protect their children from being sold.

Find the affection in that.
