Bumping

One thing that's interesting in our discussion is we equate 3D love with some kind of perverted possessive love. The thing is some would argue that no group of fetishes are more set on possessiveness and making women into playthings than moe. This was Miyazaki's (he hates otaku) rant for a long time. Of course his characters have become so many otaku's waifu's it's not even funny, but regardless, is it true that we hate people and are only comfortable when we can control them?

Miyazaki: ...So at times like this, I try to ask my self what a real would kid do, and based on that inspiration I draw what I see.
If you don't observe reality like this you can't draw anything, you can't see anything. You're only concerned with your own ego.

(Interviewer): Isn't that connected with whether you like people or not?

Miyazaki: Japanese animation isn't based off of observation, for the most part.
Now it's gotten full of guys who hate looking at people.
That's why it's become a hive for otaku.
