Pretty much like being struck by thunder. Within milliseconds, the shock preys upon & destroys much of your inner body, as your 70% water body is a fairly good electrical conductor.
You might live, but you might get brain damage, or lose the means to move some of your body around.
Don't mess with the oarfishe. If she approaches you, offer her a drink & be willing to listen to the daily mishaps she has to deal with. She doesn't shock anyone by mistake. Be mindful of her drunken behavior as she's quite clingy, but that's not nearly as bad as getting shocked, I would say.
