I'll bite, Marisa having easier collecting is a game mechanic that has been unique to her for a while. The power up items have never been shown outside of the games so I assume they're non canon.

If you want a lore explanation while magicians can become youkai and Marisa has shown interest in immortality she has shown no sign of transformation or understanding of the magic required to do such a thing. All her profiles refer to her as a ordinary human and she's designed as a hard worker but still weaker than other characters arch type. She also does not regenerate like a youkai and wounds just like a human. She even comments on the advantages youkai have compared to her when it comes to that. So unless Marisa doesn't know it and she's such a weak youkai that she shows no trait of being one she's still an ordinary human. Everything I cited comes from either the game themselves or other canon works.

Maybe I'm deluding myself, maybe there's no chance for what I want to ever come true but I'll always believe in the beauty of my dreams.

Smash your face against the wall of difficulty repeatedly. Abuse continues at first to unlock levels for practice and then try to clear levels in practice mode without using any bombs. Don't be afraid to amp the difficulty level to one you're not used too either, I actually started at Lunatic and slowly worked my way down as I got used to it. That may not work for you though.

Fate's OST kind of grew on me, there's something appealing about its generic sound. I sometimes like to play that one calm song that's usually played during meals when I'm cooking breakfast so it's like I'm really the star of my own VN. Because the series prefers to tell its story by slowly revealing the entirety of Gensokyo and its inhabitants rather than focusing on a small group of characters and seeing the place from their perspective. The story isn't designed to be a sprawling epic nor tell the tale of a specific character but give the player/reader a peek into a different world and leave you wondering what other mysteries does this place have?
