I get what you are saying, but in Su's case it looks like they might have had to since a lot of people have problems brushing their teeth sufficiently when they're like that. In Yui's case she should have kept them as they were as that was a fundamental part in her cuteness.

I just recently learned that she had teeth pulled and that explains a lot considering pulling or realigning teeth can radically change your jaw structure and appearance.
I just hope it at least was out of necessity and not plastic surgery on account of that fucking "small face" shit Japs are hysterical about, that would make me really fucking depressed man.
