Figured I'd ask here but, am I retarded or how does the newer hologram tech they use at concerts work? I'm aware of the pepper's ghost method and other projection onto glass methods, but how did they do stuff like this?

Like how are they viewing it from the side? Do you actually not and it's all a fake audience or is the audience able to view it through their smartphones or something like with a special app?
