virtual youtubers are only getting big in japan. Kizuna ai on the other hand is the most normalfag virtual youtuber in the west and when gaijins try to get into the virtual youtuber fad they just fall off.

Mostly because theres hardly an english audience for virtual youtubers. Only ones that persevered is our homegrown one but he understands this shit in the first place and a british one who speaks broken japanese who also got a decent japanese audience.

Most of the time western VY's will fail because they lack the patience.
