This is the scariest thing I have ever seen in my dreams. I only seen it for a couple of seconds as it squeezed through every opening into my basement and covered every inch of the walls, but I remember it well. They are extremely agile and can travel over any surface with ease. They invade in the billions and it's impossible for land animals to escape them.

They release toxins into the air paralyze that any form of life completely. The victim skin then begins to deteriorate and boils form and bust and fester. They move quickly, but eat slowly. The toxins released serve to destroy organic matter and make it easier to consume, so all that is left of devoured animals are puddles of slightly distinguishable goo.

Their only weakness are hospitals. for some reason they tend to avoid them. As I was shot twice in an earlier part of the dream, I was stationed there while only hearing about the first invasion. Soon after rushing home to check if my family was ok, they began a second one and I refused to be a part of it (woke up).
