It's basically Shiki travelling backwards to the beginning of creation to make the celestial egg imperfect and wake Arc up. They mentionIt's a phenomena that like happens in an instant. I don't think it or DA principles have any relation to Fate stuff. The angel symbolism is probably related to Roa and Arc though since the ritual site is called the ladder to heaven if I'm remembering right.
