The oil in the tpe is what keeps it soft and smooth.

Washing tpe with too much strong soap will strip away the oils, causing the tpe to become a soft sponge that will eventualy either crack apart/degrade and also because the oil is gone the tpe sponge will fill in with water which will lead to bacteria/mold growing more easily in the cavity of the onahole.

That is why oil baths after cleaning and disinfecting is important.

Otherwise you might need Hydrogen Peroxide or Bleach solution to combat the biomass growing inside.
