Touhou Kikeijuu
形獣 means "to take the form of a beast" and ZUN's blog talks about "animal spirits" from Hell. 獣形 is also short for "獣形幔", the weird animal spirit things in pic-related. Also 鬼 is obviously "oni". On the title screen that kanji has horns. This perfectly matches up with Gozuki (Ox-Head Oni) and Mezuki (Horse-Face Oni), two famous oni of Hell that have animal heads.

The game has a "beast form" mechanic that allows a spirit to possess you and give you powers (I think?). Youmu already has two bodies, add an animal spirit and you got three.
