I'm thinking of doing it too, I know multiple friends who already are starting and have live 2D avatar rigs ready for debut.
I'm a boring ass sperg who barely talks, don't think I would ever have any success but just talking out in to the air knowing there are people that could be hearing me, if its just 10 people on a stream, or there's 0 people but in the future people could come across a VOD would be an experience.
Hopefully it could build character and make us more entertaining as a person in general.

She also works freelance as one of her 3 jobs, so she's likely still doing a lot of that art commisions or animations or something still

As long as you don't simp beyond reasonable membership prices, and try get the best you can out of watching them shits fine tho imo.
Mori has become kind of like a true idol to me, and not the Japanese variant of a perfect untouchable doll on a pedestal to stare at, but the traditional version of someone to look up to and try imitate their success.
I get large life motivation which inevitably will recoup me any money Mori gets out of me, and I get to enjoy it the entire way because I find her entertaining.

Memberships are not about getting something as much as they're about supporting the idol. If you missed the stream, you can just watch the VOD later, and hey, maybe you'll catch them sometimes.
