To clarify, did you play up to that point and finish the scene's proper route, or did you just see pics others posted? Where did you stop? I'm two chapters ahead of that scene myself, so I have a lot left to clear. Personally, I didn't see the rain scene in such an egregious light as you might have, especially having taken the gentle approach. I can see why you may have experienced it that way, though I think it may still be worth reading past that. Even if you view the protagonist in a somewhat negative light for that, he constantly reflects on his behavior (including during and after that scene), so it's not like he's some ぐすぐす super-rape NTR basement slave-having warlord. Well, at least that's been my observation thus far.
>a pretty well executed arc of him learning to open up to his students and stop being such a selfish and by-the-books asshole
Yeah, I thought that was done well too. It is really long and kind of depressing in my opinion, which as a novice reader, wasn't the best to work with, but it gave the game a big feeling of transformation that I can appreciate with each scene that follows. I think the initial investment of all that time spent "developing" the protagonist in the excessively long introductory arc gave me a lot of incentive to continue reading. Because of that, as well as the exciting writing for the ero scenes so far, I want to see how the protagonist develops towards the end, and ultimately, how the relationships with his students turn out in each ending.
>I like lolige
I take it you're more interested in more romance-focused lolige? Any recommendations? I'd really like to play one once I finish 通心ぼ 1,000 years from now. Going at a snail's pace, but I'm dedicated to finishing it before I touch anything else.
