I might as well bring it up here.

Is Hakurouken a full-length sword? It's well-known that samurai would wear a pair of swords, one long katana and one backup wakizashi, or whatever. That is, one full-length sword and one short sword. But Roukanken is described as being longer than what a human would be able to wield, and Hakurouken is said to be the ancestral sword of the Konpaku line. That sounds like Hakurouken is a full-length sword in its own right, with Roukanken long enough (an odachi? I don't know much about swords) to preserve the large-small relationship. But then you look at the art and Hakurouken looks barely large enough to be a dagger. Roukanken only looks average length, considering how short Youmu is.

So what's the answer? What should these two swords "properly" look like?
