Wow, some of you take things too seriously.

That's true, and is actually why I'm recruiting more recs - I legitimately can't think of anything else.

That said, the two you listed are exceptions. Stage 5 is intentionally "not kamige but close to it" since GSS is a legendary and worthwhile game even if in it's not amazing in reality. Supreme Candy is just a meme part of the Scaji Showdown, I know the games in that stage aren't kamige.

That's why I have a variety of games on there from a variety of genres.

I was to some degree trying to minimize repetition between writers - There's only one Sakurai game there, one Mareni, etc. This contrasts with the "comprehensive" but I gave a shoutout for the other sakurai/Mareni games in the honorable mentions section. (and it's better than having a Mareni section with 8 Mareni games)

The gameplay section is definitely hard and one of the ones I most want recommendations for. Well, I'm playing Re;Lord halfway for my bro, but Baldr Force and maybe VBL could go - I've played a large number of gameplay kamige (e.g. Rance series) so my options were limited. Same for the doujin section.

But anyway, if the list is "so meh", surely you have some recommendations, right? I'm all ears. Ruitomo though, I'm not sure, Hino is confirmed kamige writer and a lot of my friends attest to it + the FD rocking their absolute worlds.

To be real, Yang Wen-li and the authors here wouldn't give a fuck about the list.

You can't dig too deeply though. If someone asks why you like a particular food, what else is there to say except you like the taste? Sure, you can mention how the saffron adds a punch, or that cooking it at a certain temperature makes it crispier, but at the end of the day, there's often not really satisfying reasons for why one likes what they do.
In the realm of art, it's possible to point out shading, or thickness of lines, or colouring, and so on. At the same time though, it's equally possible to like something because of it's shading or dislike something because of it's shading, or what have you. It's all subjective. It won't be productive to say "I like that art", and when forced to, add on that the shading is kind of nice, because someone else can easily pop in and say how the shading is bad from their perspective. What's there to understand, anon? It's opinion at the end of the day, and you won't find much satisfaction in attempting to understand them. At times like this, it's perfectly reasonable to acknowledge another's viewpoint with attempting to understand them.
