the natsuhi thing was changed long before bt died, not to mention ep5 being all about erika painting a long sordid tale of her affair with kinzo, and even if it didn't actually happen it still was an important enough part of the story to get a full double page spread of natsuhi getting fucked (and enjoying it) in the manga
then ep8's manga has that one panel i'm always complaining about shoving the skeletons back into gohda's closet despite that going against his previously established backstory, which also has enough papers on it to imply everyone else has skeletons, even if not legible enough to figure out what's what
the fucking office workers have a bigger track record of getting shit changed that we know for sure, with the aforementioned natsuhi-gohda affair and throwing out tohya & ikuko's marriage being two i can name off my head
the story moves back and forth between whether they deserved it or not, which as far as i see it was clearly ryukishi's intention so the reader would also feel conflicted as to whether the ushiromiyas deserved it, with the obvious flaw in that intention being that you have to pretend the 9 year old deserved death because she uu'd too loud, but that's just how ryukishi's writing is, how it always has been both before and after bt's death, just look at takano
bt's death likely did fuck all to the main story (outside of i don't know maybe the fucking funeral setup for ep7 but that doesn't really change the meat of the story at hand) and i don't know why some of you faggots not particularly aimed at you op seem to want to put him on some pedestal all the time, just admit you don't like the direction the story went in instead of trying to rationalise it as not being YOUR fault your view of the ending didn't align with how ryukishi wanted it, there's nothing wrong with disagreeing with the author's view of their story you don't need to figure out some way of wriggling out of it

>Ikuko is hiding Yasu in the mansion
>that's why she's not married to 'Tohya'
>Battler and Yasu do nothing but fuck which means Ikuko has to do all the writing by herself
>they won't even invite her for a threesome
It's a harsh life for this no good hikkiNEET...

I felt like defending aspiring writers, that's all. I think you're right in saying that it's best to work with the characters you've constructed in your head, and it's indeed how I try to write myself. Probably should've stuck a few 'for some writers' in there, I guess.

That's been my experience with fanfiction as a whole, honestly. It's hard to find actual quality works on there or on ffnet, with most franchises only really getting a small handful of legible stories of actual worth. It's to be expected, I suppose, considering the usual group of people who post stories on those websites. You get the occassional standout like some old teacher or a guy stuck in a boring job wanting to get better at writing, but they usually either die off or start writing original content, and they normally only stick to making stories about normalfag content regardless so it tends not to matter unless you actually enjoy reading schlock about schlock.

What the fuck is this. What grotesque imagery have you brought unto this thread? You crazed madman, you utterly deranged psychopath. How could you post this? Evil, you are. Nothing short of evil, and I don't even consider the worst of humanity evil. Not even the person who had drawn that picture is as evil as you, for posting it here and bringing it to my attention.

Jessica could have been blinded by love, or even knew and just pretended she didn't. George might not have seen Kanon around enough (maybe just the conferences at best) in order to notice the similarities.
>>34105987
Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. The whole plan was entirely based on luck, to the point that Sayo's notebook fragments she sent out in the bottles didn't have Ange on the island despite there being no way she'd know she wouldn't be there. It's just that the thing about Shannon and Kanon being noticeably not around at the same time can be explained, while the similarities between them is entirely hooked on either chance, or that they might have said they were relatives at some point.
Also you're right that Battler recognised her voice, it's one of the main reasons I wish we could have seen more of 'true' Battler, as meta-Battler clearly isn't as good as he is with that shit.
