Sorry, I have to say this: If she gained a few pounds, someone would say she was too big. People in the public eye can't win on this issue. We assume that any celebrity who gains or loses a few pounds must have an eating disorder (either anorexia or binging). In reality, people gain and lose a few pounds due to stress, infection, hormonal changes, injuries (for instance, someone could sprain or tear or break something and then lose muscle, gain fat or both because of the inactivity needed to recover...) and a multitude of other factors that, I not being a doctor, can't think of off the top of my head.

I'm glad that people are concerned about the health and welfare of idols and other celebrities, but we really need to avoid jumping the gun and assuming the worst every time a celebrity gains or loses a few pounds, and what's more photo editing, photo angles, outfits and other factors can easily exaggerate such an impression, as can a wide-eyed expression, as in the above photo. It's not the best picture of her, and she looks a bit dazed as though she might be sleep deprived from a busy schedule or insomnia (nagging allergies have given me insomnia lately, for instance), but this is not nearly unhealthy-looking enough to start the eating disorder discussion.
