Also, this would mean Midori can be a freshman 7th grader at St. Lucia and get bullied by 9th grade Rika and Satoko. A perfect opportunity to make a Higanbana cameo in the anime. She's rich and it makes sense for her to study there after graduating from elementary. Now she has to face her humiliating social status without the help of any youkai.

This would be amazing and tie RGD and Higanbana to the WTC series via those four characters in small but meaningful ways, without taking away from either series or feeling forced.

Dead Meryl, Alternate Nina, Michiru and teen Midori aren't even expies, so they fit perfectly as background characters in WTC without looking out of place. And none of them even need to show up physically, only Midori. She's super popular, so that's even more reason to have her make a cameo.
