The discussion brought up some interesting questions. What would you do if a monster species you didn't like confirmed you as her mate? This means that she has permanently altered to be with you. She can accept no substitutes. Would you break her heart, or would you try to accept her? What behavior is acceptable from her, would you forgive her for trying to seriously rape you? What if accepting her means going outside your comfort zone or what you imagine you'd like, how would you handle that?
