I never understood the HM Alphes hate, I think the colors got a little wacky but I thought they had charm.
I'm partial to Moe Harukawa's art but I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. Her anatomy and posing is a little off in a lot of cases but most of the time her overall skill level makes up for it. Things tend to be colored on the yellow end but it gives a kind of antique feel that reminds me of old touhou. Also the fact that she did FS and two fighting game arts and then kind of dipped, with no real other info about her. I wish she was still the "face" of non ZUN touhou art instead of Azmaya, who had a lot of growing pains in the past decade and still has questionable anatomy that is now mostly covered up by her bright shiny colors.
