Where does it say that? The profile outright says its not uncommon for a dragon to die of old age having never had sex, because they refuse to meet with people and the humans who seek them out try to slay them and so they tend to kill/defeat such humans in self defense.

Of course some dragons do go man hunting, but others simply don't it seems.

I mean why would most dragon zombies be from the former age? Dragons had their own males to have sex with then and they had no pride issue stopping them from mating with fellow dragons. Or do you mean dragons that got slain by heroes before they could reproduce? Those I could see becoming undead.

That turned out to be a mistranslation. The translator didn't realize they were giving an "over time" impression and when it was pointed out a different wording was chosen.

I wouldn't say that. It says they take men they fancy back to their lairs, where he becomes their most prized treasure and they take a dominating position in the relationship. That's the typical "stronger monster captures weaker man" scenario, not the "man proves he is stronger than dragon" scenario that is needed to make her submissive.

Some dragons are just haughty enough that they don't do this hunting behavior, and they can end up as dragon zombies.

That's not if they get dicked, its only if the male proves to be stronger than them, which would be very few humans indeed given how powerful dragons are.

The initial translation was misleading, and when asked about it the translator stated it was not his intention to imply that dragons normally get turned submissive. This is made all the more clear when the jabberwock profile details how it is sex that can get them controllable, unlike normal dragons who care about the martial prowess (i.e. power) of a man when it comes to such things.

In other words, "female lizard" dragons don't normally happen. Usually you get a tsundere, "you are my greatest treasure and I control where you go" type of wife.

This is why the dragon's profile got its wording changed to be more clear about the intention, namely changing from "when their instinct" to "if their instinct."

If you want dragons that will become controllable merely through sex then you need to go to ones like the dragon zombie and wurm.
