/jp/, I am really interested in learning Japanese. However, I admit I have never been taught another language, and I do not have the means to be taught in class, so my only option is self tutoring.

Here lies my problem, as I said I've never learned another language. I do not have the faintest clue where to start, what resources I would require, or what aspects of language to emphasize over others.
