the one time she's been portrayed as grouchy is CDS (I.E her only recent appearance), and even then, it's only in her interaction with sakuya where she thinks she might have 'murdered' patchouli, she's pretty much fine with orin and she's fine with sakuya in the fairy manga where she's made to search for lily white
ZUN doesn't think about meiling much, and as a result her personality has never really seen much change
