What I'm stuck on is the physics of the Sotsu explanation. Lambda traps Rika in a game, and that's where Bern is born. To make Satoko Lambda, Lambda has to be born through her after Higurashi's main plot, or some place seperate. However Bern would already be born by then because of her actions in Minagoroshi and her solving of XYZ.

Lambda must be older than Bern to trap her.
Lambda must be born in a world after she loses to Bern.
Has Ryukishi not trapped himself in a paradox?
