You find your waifu limping home one day clutching her shoulder and telling you to lock the door. As you're about to call the doctor, she tells you not to and to just hide her for a while until she's better. A few hours later you hear a knock at the door and find a band of knights asking to be let in. They explain they tracked a dangerous monster to this area and are now looking for her. As they try to force their way inside, they casually explain that if you're hiding her, you'll be branded a traitor for the rest of your life and most likely killed, but they may turn their eyes just this once if you willingly give her up.
