So shitty writing/plot hax, archer shouldn't even be able to survive 1 wave of GOB. But you can say:
1. Archer knew about caster's mana stocking in kirie's church or from fate route.
2. Archer went to the temple since caster also survived there (he might have found out during his life time or from caster or during the fight). Then drain the mana from people around there, from the grail, or from the mana draining system set up by caster that wasn't dismounted.
3. Archer went to the temple. Used last of remaining mana just cause the last battle was there. Could have gotten mana from X factor.

2 & 3 have the problems of how gil didn't notice him there, but then again it's Gil..
