-f99: I guess the choice is between "[x] has been found" and just "[x]". When I imagine them being used, the two sound like ass but the first one a little bit more so. If these messages come up after some sort of "search" function, simply "[x]" should do the trick, passive constructions stick like a sore thumb if used repeatedly.
