That final final check sure is taking long. The 10th anniversary countdown has also passed without event.

I'm not convinced that the new translation will be, at all. I still don't understand why there's no suspicion at all, even though some unknown person claims to have fully retranslated a famous VN with no evidence. It feels less convincing than even GamePatch.

Is it just that the lack of recent fake translations (due to the increased popularity of machine translations, which also nets you a completed work for even more e-penis) has dulled people to the point where they assume any project not confirmed to be a machine translation is valid? Am I just missing something that indicates this project is legitimate?

I'd been dreaming. About a daily life befitting normal school kids, in just such a self-involved club. If I have the memory, that's enough. I'm satisfied---

"This is the Gunjou Institute broadcasting club."

"Is anyone alive out there?"

Cross Channel is a rather deep and serious story, not your usual high school slice-of-life. It's very hit-or-miss; some think of it as the best VN ever, while others just plainly dislike it.

First of all, I never claimed I/O to be popular. It was not released by KID, and therefore many people don't realize it's an infinity game. I only claim I/O to be good as it's written by the same person who also wrote Ever17 and Remember11. R11's translation hasn't finished yet, but Ever17 is generally very well-liked in the English VN community.

Also, for people who liked Cross Channel: CC's writer, Romeo Tanaka, also worked on I/O.

Cross Channel is shounen because it's about friendship and trust.
