ive used blender to construct some ripped game assets and uploaded to shapeways because no printer
it cost €45 for a solid figma sized print, no joints or anything.

it sounds super neat to own a printer and make your own models from scratch, probably cheaper too.. but i get bored too easily and wouldn't use it enough
