That is a question of what it means to support. I'd support her doing gravure through masturbation, of course. If she did absolute JAV, I'd masturbate very hard and often. This applies to every idol I like, not only Akane. The only question I would have is, is it what she really wants to do and why is she doing it? If it is only for money, then I would hope there is another way to get that money but, I would still masturbate.

Somehow this pic is making me dizzy and gives me a headache, all the pink and shapes.

What happened to Hanako? I remember hearing that something happened but, never knew what and there is too much rabbit hole to go down to research so now I remain out of the loop on most things.

Your problem is seeing idols purely for men's perception. I will not argue about a big part of the income being lonely men, of course this is true and it is one of the reasons why the industry has more problems beyond the inherent problems of capitalism itself. But, especially in Japan the average young man is now lonely and has given up on wanting relationships. This is a trend across modern countries, the more they grow technologically and economically and with higher quality of life, the less men will have sex and the more likely women are to have sex but not want relationships. Of course, they will get married eventually in many cases but, this is not guaranteed.

Now consider that female idols are inspirational for young girls. This actually is an integral part of being an idol. In the past this made sense to include not having a boyfriend, to be "pure" and such, because the liberation of girls was perceived as a threat. However, now it is backfiring because idols are becoming less and less appealing to girls and more and more appealing to men. This will with time decrease both supply and demand, thus it is flawed capitalism. True capitalism would be that idols are not judged when they date, rather they merely move on from being idols to the next stage in their life and it is celebrated. A positive graduation, as actually sometimes is the case even now. This would be economically more beneficial to the industry as it increases supply of idols, and demand because more men want more idols, and it further makes it a desirable quality for idols to have a boyfriend and even increases the illusion men have that they have a chance to be with them if that is why they like idols. This is nonetheless a stupid reason to like idols.

Now you can say this is all on the side, not the main issue at hand. To that I will say: for how long? The industry cannot sustain itself forever, in fact we already see fragmentation and in large part this comes from not adapting well with the times. Former idols becoming involved in other parts of the industry can solve many problems, we will see more of this in the future but, this itself is not sufficient.

My personal opinion is that there should be no problem with anything before there was a change in laws or morals or even standards different from laws or morals. Of course, this is very difficult or impossible to enforce in practice so, the solution is to not enforce it unless there is actual harm in the current context. This is my view, for most on either side of the political spectrum it is too "liberal" and even morally repulsive but, it is the only way to guarantee no harmful effects from suppression while being able to prevent more content that is now considered abusive by current laws or morals or standards from being created.

As for importing, that depends where. If I tried to carry such content when visiting in Hell, then no question I would be immediately arrested and go to prison for longer years than murderers. If I had my hard drive with idol content with me there, it would be too risky. Laws are different in every country. In the country I live, no problem if only having it but sometimes law enforcement break the law so there is a risk. In America probably would not be likely to have a problem? Probably it also depends on the format, a DVD would be more likely for problems than files on a hard drive.
