It was basically a movie made by an obsessed Silent Hill fan for other obsessed Silent Hill fans. I liked it, but it was far from perfect.

I mostly admire how it stayed loyal to the source material; in the end it took aspects from the first three games in the series pretty equally. The beggining of the movie was SH1, the middle was SH2, and the end was SH3. Or that's the way I saw it to be anyways.

Oh, and they used the soundtrack from the actual video games. They should do that in the Saya movie as well.
