If the lurker:poster ratio is at least 3:1 even on /jp/, maybe a bit higher, let's say 5:1 as a reasonable high? Actual NEETs might post here 8 hours a day, but it is more reasonable to pin it at 4 hours a day. So 200 average posters (less when dead, more during some event), in six rough slices of time... overlapping surely but the math works the same.

So 200 times 6 times the poster:lurker ratio would have my guess land around 3500-6000 for this thread? Definitely a rough estimate, but it's not baseless.

Then there's a IP count on /hlg/, but allow for some overlap. So maybe take their 300 posters and cut it in half, but maintain the same 4 hours per day and the same lurker:poster ratio, the low and high estimate would be (rounded once again) 6000-10,000.

So yeah, even including lurkers, we're nothing.
