I love you, /jp/, you are sheer brilliance. There hasn't been a bad thread in ages, and all I ever see on the front page are daily dose threads, old /a/ threads, /trv/ and /lang/ threads, hey guys what's your favorite toehoe because we haven't had this thread 200 fucking times already threads, shitty Touhou/Rika imagedumps, shitty Umineko theory threads, and 3D. And if by some miracle a VN thread manages to sit on the front page for more than five minutes, half the posts in it will be 'sauce', 'wat vn is this', 'dis vn ne good?'. I remember when /jp/ held a measure of posting quality, but now the better part of the userbase types like a 12 year old adhd retard (which is probably the case, actually). Grammar nazism aside, it's really disheartening to see threads about classical VNs that everyone should have played years ago (Ever17/Yume Miru), yet are talked about as if they were new, fresh content. It's becoming clear that at the moment, 75% or more of the userbase wasn't here 1 year ago, and most of them probably showed up sometime in the last 4-5 months.

Nobody talks about new VNs for some reason (yes, I did try to start threads for pretty much every VN released between now and 3 months ago), old VNs are discussed by newfriends, the only threads that get replies in the hundreds are Sakura is a slut and derivates, and 'what would you do in [situation]'. Browsing /jp/ right now is pointless, and it's obvious it won't be getting better. So, fuck you, I'm going to /bun/, because talking to myself is somewhat more exciting than putting up with this shit.
