It probably wouldn't be hard to find some listings for a Precure chara show or something like that. Otherwise they show up at conventions and stuff. Wonfes is a big one. Don't listen to anons making "creepy otaku" assumptions either, they're just cosplayers mostly. Then again, I don't find anything creepy about playing pretend.

There are male costumes, but one of the big draws is "Even if you're a boy, you can cosplay as a female character easily, and hide your identity to boot!", girls get a lot less flack for crossplaying, so that draw isn't really there. Even just coming from the standpoint of loving Kigurumi as a cosplay method, there's only a few male characters I'd want to play. Girls are just cuter and have neater character designs over all.
