Read a news article today. Took me almost an hour, but I did it.

This is the one. After three or four half-assed attempts at learning this language these past ten years, I'm actually sticking with it and making progress. Read a doujin the other day too and was surprised by how much I understood without having to stop and struggle. The reps are paying off.

I suppose you're right. I will struggle, but I have the time, so I'll try to not give myself too much of a workload and just enjoy what I play. I started replaying the game again, and I seem to somehow remember more than I expected. Maybe I've just been more fatigued than the other times when I tried to play it.
