I still think they should really buff the hell out of Meiling's damage. She just has so few advantages compared to the other melee characters. Pitiful reach, so-so spellcards (with the notable exception of all her level 5 spell cards and Earth and Sky Dragon Kick), terrible bullets, and difficult and/or intricate combos for little damage in return. I don't even think the poor girl can get a 2.8k damage combo without control rods, spellcards, or level 4 skills. It's ridiculous

I don't want to be contrary and I don't want to discourage would-be Meiling players, so I'll just say that I still think people can learn a lot more from practicing other characters before delving into Meiling's playstyle

Disagreed. Utsuho's main thing has always been xbauxheug damage. Before, she was just too slow to truly compete, and didn't have enough damage to make up for it. She's a fair bit better now, but I'd hold off on calling her overpowered

Honestly, save for Meiling, I can't think of a real "D" tier character now. All the characters seem quite viable except perhaps her

It's just.. then Tasofro had to go and nerf her combos. And then not buff her damage in any way whatsoever

Seriously, she has to work twice as hard to get the damage output of other characters. It's kind of dumb. She just does not rip an tear enough in melee to justify having such shitty bullets and short range ::/
