The only reason why anyone want to stay in Tokyo is for the easy access to comiket and reitaisai. Besides that, it is stupid to pay for a prison cell.

Currently in Japan and it fucking sucks.
But the reason it sucks has nothing to do with racism or their hate for you.
They have a horrible work culture and everyone in Tokyo seems to be in a rush all the time. It is also expensive as hell and it is almost like living in a prison cell.
It is great for vacation, just not for long term residence.
Kansai and Hokkaido especially are 100000000000x better than Tokyo.
